5k Run For Clean Water In 3rd World Countries
September 7, 2012 7:03 AM Saturday – run for a cause with the Community Christian Church youth group 5k run on the CSI campus for Compassion international, raising money to buy spouts for clean water in third world countries. It will be a fun event with food, exercise, awards, and raffles – plus they will have a special run for kids too!!
The run starts at 9:15 for the 5k and the kids fun run starts at 8:45 so it will still be cool weather and you get to sleep in a little bit.
Early registration is $20 for adults and $10 for the kids run. If you decide to register on the day of the race, cost is $15 for Kid’s Fun Run and $25 for the 5k. Preregistration is open until Friday.
