America Is Facing A National Clown Shortage
I am not a big fan of clowns - they don't scare me like they do many people, but I am a bit creeped out by them. On that note I am not really sad to learn that America is facing a national clown shortage.
That could be good for everyone. If you are scared of clowns it will comfort you to know that there are less out there now than normal (The number of working clowns has dropped from 3,500 in 2004 to 2,500 now) and if you are looking to get into the clown business - there is definitely a demand.
Or maybe there isn't a shortage - we just keep voting the best clowns into political offices and the others are finding it hard to stay out of trouble with the law!
