MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (KLIX)- Police in Mountain Home responded to a scuffle Sunday night at the rodeo grounds were several people where hurt.

According to the Mountain Home Police Department the brawl happened at around 9 p.m. at the Optimist Park. A fight had broken out between several people and security staff working there. Police say they have gotten conflicting accounts as to what happened during the fight and can't determine what caused it.

Several people were hurt but refused medical treatment. Mountain Home Police say there are a number of witnesses that still need to be interviewed. The Chief of Police Nick Shilz said "In any investigation with this many people involved, it is important for us to make sure that we receive all the information and speak to as many witnesses as we can prior to making a decision on arresting or charging anyone. The situation was handled by officers with all the information they had at the time.

We will continue this investigation with the help of our detective division and once it is completed, the report will go to our prosecuting attorney's office for possible charges." Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
