BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A California man police say shot at two vehicles in southwestern Idaho has been convicted in federal court of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

The Idaho Statesman reports that a jury on Friday also convicted 29-year-old Lajai Jamar Pridgette of Sacramento of possession of counterfeit credit cards, equipment to make the cards, and transportation of a stolen vehicle. Prosecutors say he wasn't charged with the shootings because there was no federal jurisdiction.

Pridgette could face charges in state court. Authorities say that Pridgette in October fired at two vehicles from the vehicle he was driving. No one was seriously injured. Pridgette is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 20. He faces up to 45 years in prison.
