The official start to holiday decorating is knocking on the door. Twin Falls has a number of events planned this week that might help those of you that could use a little push getting in the holiday spirit.

December 1 is National Christmas Lights Day. I have neighbors that up the Christmas decorating bar every year, so I started hanging my exterior lights two weeks ago in anticipation of another lighting throw down. Saturday (Dec 1) is the day many people are going to begin the process of stringing lights and showing off their Christmas flare.

The following are a few events planned in the Magic Valley the day before Saturday's theme of nationwide holiday illumination that could act as inspiration for the weekend's tasks at hand.
