Christina Aguilera has agreed to perform at the Michael Jackson tribute, which is supposed to happen in Wales on October 8th.

Cee Lo Green is performing too. They should add Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Carson Daly, and some swivel chairs.  Then you've got enough star power for an episode of "The Voice" . . . and the concert could get interesting. What do you think?

The promoters have also confirmed a few other performers, including:  Smokey Robinson, Leona Lewis, Craig David, the British boy band JLS, and Alien Ant Farm.  (--They released a cover of Michael's "Smooth Criminal" in 2001.)

This isn't a final list.  The promoter says, quote, "This announcement is just the beginning, we have many more to announce."  They're also thinking about streaming the show live at arenas in the U.S., but there's no plan in place yet.

By the way, the show may also include performances by members of the Jackson family . . . but we assume Randy and Jermaine won't be involved, because last we heard, they were still opposed to the concert.

(This tribute is being planned by Michael's mother Katherine, sister La Toya, and brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie.  There's still no word what Janet and Rebbie think of it.)
