Deputies Seize 5.7 Pounds of Meth, Twin Falls Woman Arrested
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – A 43-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday after sheriff’s deputies found 5.7 pounds of meth inside a trailer home.
Deputies found the stash in a trailer at 350 Grandview Drive while filling a search warrant of the home around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Another person was inside the trailer while deputies conducted their search, said Twin Falls County Sheriff spokesman Lori Stewart, but only one woman was arrested.
Catalina Garcia-Ruiz, 43, of Twin Falls was taken into custody on a charge of trafficking methamphetamines. The other person inside the home at the time of the search was not believed to be part of the drug operation, Stewart said.
