BELLEVUE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) On Monday, the Wood River Fire and Rescue responded to a trailer on fire.

Approximately at 10:18 a.m., Wood River Fire Department and other fire agencies arrived at 309 Baseline Road in Bellevue. At the time of their arrival fire officials saw the occupants outside the trailer and saw smoke coming out from the rear of the trailer.

Fire officials did a search inside the trailer and said there was no interior fire. The fire was coming from the rear wall on the back of the trailer.

“We were able to extinguish the fire within minutes of finding it, there were no reported injuries and the home is unoccupiable due to no power in the trailer,” said Assistant Fire Chief Craig Aberbach.

Aberbach said the family was connected with Red Cross to help them out with any services they may need.

The initial cause of the fire is still under investigation.
