Food Network’s Choice For Best Idaho Frozen Drink Proves They Don’t Know Us

The Food Network has declared what the best frozen drink in each state is. You would think they would be experts since "Food" is a part of their name. However, their choice for the best frozen drink in Idaho shows that they clearly don't really know us.

Their claim is that the best frozen drink in Idaho is a frozen sangria from the Basque Market in Boise. That's all fine and dandy. It may be great. But, have you had one of these? I haven't. For a drink to be "the best", it should be the one that is at least somewhat common.

The people I know in Idaho would be way more likely to choose one of the following as their favorite frozen drink. Even Yelp agrees that there are better options. If you look at their reviews for frozen drinks in Twin Falls, here are the top 5:

Heck, I'd prefer a chocolate milkshake from McDonald's or a Frosty from Wendy's over a frozen sangria.
