The Guns N’ Roses concert scheduled for tonight (Dec. 5) in Southaven, Mississippi has been cancelled due to production issues. This is the second show of the band’s current tour to be cancelled for such reasons, the first being their Nov. 23 date in Albany, N.Y.

According to Blabbermouth, the venue which had planned to host Axl Rose and company issued a statement saying: “Due to production issues, the DeSoto Civic Center is unable to host the scheduled concert for Guns N’ Roses set to take place on Monday, December 5, 2011. We apologize for any inconvenience to ticket purchasers. Ticket refunds are available at all points of purchase, including all Ticketmaster locations, Ticketmaster.com, the DeSoto Civic Center Box Office or by phone at (800) 745-3000.”

The band should be able to do a pretty good job getting the word out to fans themselves about this cancellation, having just recently passed 13 million Facebook followers. Personally, we’ve got our fingers crossed that Guns N’ Roses’ next show — Dec. 7 in Youngstown, OH — goes off without a hitch because we’re going to that one!

After that, the band heads west with a series of shows that culminates with two sure to be sold-out late nights ringing in the new year at the Joint in Las Vegas.
