CBS News ranked all of the states based on how many of their citizens owned a firearm. How heavily-armed is Idaho compared to the rest of the country? Let me first ask you a question. Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?

According to them, there are 24.2 guns for every 1,000 residents in Idaho. That means we are #6 in the US when it comes to which states are packing heat.

The only surprise about this is that Idaho isn't ranked #1. Wyoming being at the top isn't a shocker, but how did Virginia beat Idaho? Let's challenge them to a duel and settle this like a man.

In all seriousness, since these are guns we're talking about, Idaho gun laws require no permit for purchase.
