Idaho Allows Online Voter Registration

BOISE, Idaho (KLIX) People can now register to vote online in Idaho. The Idaho Secretary of State Lawrence Denny announced people can go to the state's new website to register to vote without needing to go to local election offices. People can use idahovotes.gov for a number of other voting resources including a search engine to find polling places and identification rules. People Registering will need and Idaho identification card to register. Secretary Denny began working on the initiative last year and the state legislature approved it. Idaho joins more than 30 other states that allow online registration.
