It's Shark Week on Discovery Channel. In honor of that, there's a helpful new study that provides some (obvious) comforting news for Idaho about the possibility of shark attacks.

Oh, and in another study, it has been decided the sky is still blue and water is wet.

Our friends at Safewise have shared a new study that claims (*gasp*) that Idaho is one of the least likely places to get attacked by a shark. How can they make such a crazy claim? Science, of course.

They claim that all the recorded shark attacks have happened on America's coasts and not Idaho. I guess those 17 cans of shark repellent that I take on my Snake River kayak trips are now going to waste. Darn it.

For Idahoans, we are told that we can avoid shark attacks by not going to Florida. Done. Thanks, Captain Obvious.
