When I moved to Idaho I knew I wasn't going to be rich. Turns out that is the case for most people. While Idaho may not be one of the richest states we definitely make up for it in other ways.

Maybe that 'dairy air' isn't really the smell of money like we've been told.

Idaho is rich in beauty, outdoor activities, great people, and so many other things except when it comes to money. 24/7 Wall St points out that the average Idaho median income is just over $48,000 while the highest average incomes are in Maryland at almost $76,000. Their study puts Idaho near the bottom of the list at 40th richest state (or 11th poorest depending on how you look at it). Maybe that 'dairy air' isn't really the smell of money like we've been told.

Do you think Idaho seems like a poor state or do we do really well with what we have?
