UPDATE: Idaho State Police say a young woman was pulled from the crash by her passenger and a good Samaritan after he car crashed into the median near Jerome. Lindsey Shwendiman, age 18, of Boise, was headed east in a Ford Focus when she went into the median and rolled, catching fire. Her passenger, Michael Galloway, age 19, of Houston, Texas, and another person were able to pull Schwendiman away from the burning car. ISP says the car was completely destroyed. Schwendiman and Galloway were both flown by air ambulance to a Boise area hospital. The interstate was blocked for about an hour.

UPDATE, 1:26 p.m.: ISP now says all lanes of travel have reopened.

JEROME, Idaho (KLIX) – Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle rollover on Interstate 84 at mile post 173, near Jerome.  The eastbound lanes are blocked at this time.
