Malawi Makes It Illegal To Pass Gas In Public
What?!!! While I see and understand the benefits of making a law about passing gas and "fouling the air", this is beyond ridiculous.
Seriously. They've decided to punish people who repeatedly, quote, "foul the air" because they want to, quote, "mould responsible and disciplined citizens." There's no word on what the punishment will be.
But locals are worried that the law is basically going to turn into the most high-stakes game of "he who smelt it, dealt it" EVER . . . with everyone blaming their emissions on someone else, to avoid being punished.
