Paranoid Parents Are Preventing Kids From Playing In Parks

I know that is a lot of ‘P’s for one sentence, but it is fun to say, and it’s true. You don’t see as many kids today walking alone to the gas station to get a soda and candy or running down the street to play with their friends. The world has become scary and paranoid parents are preventing their kids from playing alone in parks to keep them safe.

Around 50 percent of adults played outside at least 7 times a week when they were growing up, and less than a quarter of kids today do that. This means that the majority of kids are stuck inside all day playing with toys or video games rather than running free through the yard. At least that will change soon when school starts and they are forced outside 3 times a day for recess!
