One of the nice benefits of living in Idaho is having clear and big skies that are somewhat pollution-free. It also helps that our neighborhood is relatively dark at night. All of those factors add up to a great place to go star gazing.

My wife is the smart one in our family. This blog should prove that if I haven't already. She has always been interested in astronomy and has been loving the great conditions here in the Magic Valley to follow her passion.

She tells me about the planets, moons and nebulas that she's found. I stare blankly back at her barely able to understand the concept of anything above tree level.

Check out her pics above of Jupiter, the moon and some other bright things up there that she's photographed here in Twin.

Do you star gaze? If you do, where do you go? Have you been to Faulkner Planetarium lately?
