GLENNS FERRY, Id. (KMVT/KSVT) A Sunday evening fire damaged the front facade of the U.S. Bank Building in Glenns Ferry.

Fire Chief Berik Janoosek said they were called to the scene at 9:35 PM. They found the porch and the front of the bank building on fire.

He said that there was some water damage to the interior of the building but the actual structure was not damaged. The fire was contained to the outside of the building. As fire investigators continue to search for answers to how the blaze started, Janoosek said it may have been a faulty exterior sign. As far as the damage, the fire chief said it may add up to $50,000.
