(KMVT/KSVT) — DNA testing shows human remains are that of a Burley’s Tiffani Streling, who has been missing for more than two years.

The Jerome County Sheriff’s Office made the announcement Monday, a few weeks after the remains were found.

On Nov. 8, a worker found human skeletal remains while they were preparing to dig at a site in rural Jerome County.

The sheriff’s office initially did not release the location and exactly when the remains were found as to not jeopardize the investigation. The remains were found in the eastern part of the county.

The Jerome County Sheriff’s Office worked with Cassia County Sheriff’s Office and received help from Ada County Coroner's Office and Boise State University to solve this case.

The Ada County coroner's Office positively identified the remains as Tiffani Streling on Wednesday.

Streling went missing in May 2015.

Anyone who may have additional information related to his case is encouraged to contact the Cassia County Dispatch at 208-878-2251 or Jerome county Sheriff's Office at 208-595-3311.
