Every year the scouts of the Snake River Council collect food for The Salvation Army and South Central Community Action Partnership by "Scouting for food." Last week many Magic valley residents received a plastic bag to place non-perishable food into. If you didn't get a bag, any bag will work fine. The scouts will be going out door to door Saturday morning to collect food. They will not be knocking on doors, so if you want to donate food to this cause be sure to have your bags out early (before 8am).

Scouting for Food is a “Community Service Project to Help Feed the Hungry.”

Scouting for Food (SFF) bags go out on October 28th to all residents in the Magic and Wood River Valleys.

Scouting for Food bag collection is on November 3rd.  Drop locations are all over the Magic and Wood River Valleys.

Scouting for food is a way scouts give back to our communities.

Food Pantries are very low and need this food to help fill their shelves for the Holiday baskets.
