Shoshone Woman Shot, Dies at Hospital

SHOSHONE, Idaho (KLIX) A Shoshone woman was shot and later died from her injuries last night according to authorities. The Shoshone Police Department says the 36-year-old was shot in the area of North Rail Street and North Apple Street at around 8:15 last night. The victim was taken by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello and died from her injuries. Police say a person of interest has been arrested and the public is not in danger. At this time authorities have not identified the victim. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is assisting in the investigation.
