SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A Post Falls man's quest for free Internet instead sent the police to his door. KREM-TV reports that as the Post Falls Police Department was investigating a man who was using a hotel's Wi-Fi without being a guest, they discovered there was a $25,000 warrant for his arrest. Police say officers received a call about a man parked outside a hotel for an hour without coming inside.

When officers approached the man, he told them he was using the hotel's Internet. They discovered the warrant out of Kootenai County for a probation violation. The man was taken into custody and booked into jail on the warrant.
