TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) –  A Twin Falls man went to the hospital this morning after the commercial vehicle he was driving overturned on Interstate 84.

John Vazquez, 36, was driving a semi-trailer eastbound on I-84 near milepost 62, just east of Boise, when he fell asleep and drove off the left shoulder, according to Idaho State Police.

Vazquez overcorrected, causing the vehicle to overturn as it came back onto the highway, and coming to rest in the eastbound lanes.

Vazquez, who was wearing a seat belt, according to ISP, was taken to St. Luke's Medical Center in Boise

The right and part of the left lanes were blocked by the trailer for about two hours while crews worked to clear the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.
