If there's one thing we can appreciate in Idaho, it's a strong wind. But, if there's one thing we don't like driving through in Idaho, it's a strong wind. That's why we can identify with this driver who was nearly blown over while crossing a bridge.
A BASE jumper injured his leg when jumping off Perrine Bridge Thursday. The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office resounded to the call a little after noon. The man jumping was from Florida and packed his own chute, but Deputy Sheriff Stacy Gorrell does not know how many prior jumps he has done.
I love this so much. If you've ever had the joy of being near an out-of-town person when they first see someone jump off the Perrine Bridge, you know that's a treat. It gets even better if it's someone from the South.
In case you have been living under the rock and/or never go near the Perrine Bridge, Miles Daisher broke the world record for most BASE jumps in one day last week. His last jump turned out to be a very wet one.
