Like many of you, my family and I braved the Idaho roadways over Memorial Day weekend, and drove 80 miles north to the city of Ketchum for a couple of days. I actually stood over the gravesite of one of the most famous writers the world has ever known on Memorial Day.
During the city council meeting on January 27, all six members of the city council voted in favor of the City of Twin Falls contributing $10,000 in matching funds for a trail grant to help create a bridge between Auger Falls Heritage Park and the area below Yingst Grade.
More than a mile long section of new Canyon Rim Trail system is set to open to the public Friday in Twin Falls. According to City Spokesperson Josh Palmer, the walking and biking public will be able to go past the Evel Knievel jump site to the west to access the new 1.6 mile connector trail.
