There Are Now 12 Active Hate Groups In Idaho And 2 Are In The Magic Valley

There is a lot more hate in Idaho this year than last year with 4 new organized groups of hate.

Last year I wrote about the number of active hate groups in Idaho and according to the research from the Southern Poverty Law Center there were 8. This year the number is up to 12 active hate groups in Idaho and 2 of them are here in the Magic Valley.

Hate groups are front and center in the news right now after a terrible weekend of violence in Charlottesville, VA that left 19 injured and 1 dead.

In the Magic Valley there are two anti-Muslim groups, the ACT For America in Twin Falls and the Committee To End The CSI Refugee Center in Buhl.

The SPL puts together what they call the Hate Map. It is a list of all the hate groups in each state.
