TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – A 45-year-old man who had two warrants out for his arrest was apprehended after a short chase Monday morning in Twin Falls.

Twin Falls resident Robert  J. Troglia was taken into custody after a pursuit this morning, according to the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies recognized Troglia, who has two outstanding warrants for burglary/grand theft and a parole commission warrant, in a 2003 Volkswagen at Washington Street and Addison Avenue at about 7:30 a.m.

Deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop but wound up giving chase to Troglia, which ended at Third Avenue West and Gooding Street. Troglia and his passenger, 29-year-old Vicki Guzman, 29, of Buhl, were taken into custody without further incident.

Troglia is being held in the James R. Munn Criminal Detention Center on his two warrants, and additional charges of eluding, trafficking methamphetamines, grand theft and felony in possession of a firearm, according to the sheriff's office.

Guzman is being held on the charges of possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and harboring a wanted felon.
