HEYBURN, Idaho (KLIX) – A 36-year-old Twin Falls woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Thursday eastbound on Interstate 84 near the Heyburn/Rupert exit.

Idaho State Police investigated the crash at little before 9 a.m.

According to ISP, Ryan E. Hurst, 23, of Twin Falls was driving eastbound in a 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara when he lost control of the vehicle and drove off the right shoulder and overturned. Yarbrough, who was a passenger, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

Hurst was wearing a seat belt and was not transported.

ISP is continuing to investigate the crash.
