HANSEN, Idaho (KLIX) – Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash early this morning State Highway 50 near the Hansen Bridge.

Hagerman resident Howard Calhoun, 71, was driving westbound in a 2017 Volvo semi truck when he lost control, causing the trailer to overturn and blocking the westbound lane, according to ISP. Jacqualine Titus, 55, of Kimberly was driving eastbound in a 1995 Ford Thunderbird. Titus was not able to stop in time and the Ford struck the semi truck.

Titus was transported via air ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center with injuries, according to ISP. Calhoun was not transported. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.

Both lanes of travel were blocked for more than three hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
