School is in session and the CSI staff and students have many events planned for the next few weeks.

  • The CSI Corn Maze opens Friday night and will be open every night from 5 to 10 p.m. through Halloween. Students from several CSI clubs are hosting the maze. They’re also selling hamburgers, hot dogs, and hot and cold drinks at the maze entrance. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for kids of all ages with school ID cards. Kids under 6 get in free. The corn field is located behind the CSI Health Science building on North College Road.
  • Come to the CSI coffee shop – The Golden Grind – Friday at 1 p.m. to hear one of the world’s best fretless guitarists, Ned Evett. Grab a drink and enjoy some free entertainment.
  • The Faulkner Planetarium’s ‘Anthems of Ghoulish Delight’ starts next Tuesday and runs through October. It features lots of creepy music along with moving graphics by the planetarium staff. Just $2 per person. It’ll play at 7 and 8 p.m. each Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
  • The first CSI play of the school year – Shakespeare’s Anthony and Cleopatra – starts next Wednesday night at 7:30 in the Fine Arts Theater. It’ll run Wednesdays through Saturdays through October 13th. $8 for adults and $6 for students.
