(SPONSORED) Twin Falls City officials say the downtown is best accessible by foot. Main Street northwest of Shoshone Street is completely demolished with construction underway for major improvements. Work crews have ripped out the concrete, trees, sidewalks, pavement, lights, and pretty much anything sitting between the shops. Eventually by the end of summer Main Street will look much different than it did a year ago.

According to Twin Falls Urban Renewal Agency Executive Director Nathan Murray, shops and restaurants downtown can still be accessed, especially this upcoming weekend for the Western Days festivities. There should also be plenty of parking downtown behind many of the stores off of the 2nd Avenues. The URA has provided a webpage with a map of the construction phase and work progress with updates, hit this LINK.
