There always seems to be something to do in Idaho and that is what makes it so great - but one website claims to have figured out the best time to be in Idaho and it is definitely up for argument.

Thrillist says that March is the best time to be in Idaho because there is still snow in the mountains for skiing and boarding, the river waters have good flow for rafting and kayaks, and the temperatures aren't too cold for camping, biking, and hiking. March is also festival season in Idaho and a great time to tour a local winery.

I'd argue that right now is the best time to be in Idaho. Sure you can't get out and ski as easily but now you can do everything else outside and it isn't too hot yet and the bugs aren't going crazy (I'm talking about the gnats and mosquitoes that are the bane of our summers).

When is your favorite time to be in Idaho?
