Taxes are on the minds of many this week as we approach the dreaded April 15 deadline. If you're wondering how much tax burden you're carrying here in Idaho compared to the rest of the country, here's the answer.

The answer is you're doing better than most of the country when it comes to taxes if you live in Idaho. Wallet Hub crunched the numbers based on income tax, property tax and total sales and gross receipt taxes. Idaho came in with a 7.87% total tax burden.
