Will There Be a Fireworks Show in Twin Falls This Year?

Everyone loves the 4th of July. It’s a time to celebrate our country’s freedom, watch fireworks and BBQ with friends and family. Would it be the same without fireworks? Every year, gathering donations for Twin Falls' fireworks becomes more and more difficult.

It takes $1,000 for every minute of fireworks. Currently the 2014 4th of July fireworks will be 12 minutes long. This will be a far shorter show than we have had in the past.

Some speculate that in years to come, the 4th of July fund will continue to decrease leaving the Magic Valley with a very small amount of fireworks, or no fireworks at all.
