Animals Inside Out Exhibit Coming Soon To Idaho Museum

If you have ever looked at an animal and thought to yourself 'Self, I wonder what that animal looks like without any fur or skin" then this exhibit is perfect for you. The Animal Inside Out exhibit from Body Worlds is coming to the Museum of Idaho, opening on June 18th, 2020. I saw the human version of this when I lived down in Las Vegas and it was pretty weird and gross so I skipped a lot of the displays. My wife, a nurse, thought it was the coolest thing ever. The animal version coming to Idaho should be a little less disturbing to me now that I'm older and it isn't human bodies. Because, yes, they use actual human and animal bodies in the exhibits.

The Body Worlds team uses a technique called Plastination to preserve and shape the bodies so they don't decompose. More than 100 specimens of animals will be featured in the exhibit including a giraffe, rabbit, reindeer, ostrich, and many more. Human bodies will also be a part of the show.

I never saw the movie Inside Out from Pixar, but  I hear it was pretty depressing without all the inside parts. By that judgement, the Animal Inside Out exhibit should represent the best each animal has to offer.
