Arson Suspected In Burley Fire
(AP) Investigators are suspecting arson as the cause of a fire that destroyed about half of an old potato processing plant in Burley. Cassia County Sheriff Randy Kidd says investigators are interviewing suspects related to a blaze that started late Friday night at the building now owned by High Desert Milk. The structure was once a processing plant owned by J.R. Simplot Co. The Times-News reports police received multiple reports from witnesses of seeing young people running from the building shortly before the fire was reported. Firefighters from several regional departments were called to help Burley fire crews control and put out the fire.
