Twin Falls City Council OK’s Doggie Park
Tuesday evening the Twin Falls City Council approved a temporary dog park for the city. The temporary facility will be located in a fenced in area at Frontier Park that is used in the summer by the softball program.
Idaho Marine Dies In Afghanistan
An Idaho Marine has been killed during combat operations in Afghanistan. Officials say 20-year-old Lance Cpl. Kenneth Cochran of Wilder and 22-year-old Cpl. Jon-Luke Bateman from Tulsa, Oklahoma died Sunday in the Helmand province during combat operations.

Murder Charge Dropped Against Burley Man
A charge of second degree murder has been dropped against a Burley man after a judge ruled there is not enough evidence in the case to convict. 24 year old Michael Thompson was arrested in December after a passenger in his pickup, 21 year old Michael Blair of Burley was found shot to death in Thompson’s pickup.
