Parker is a professional beatboxer, podcaster, musician, and on-air personality for 104.3 WOW Country! He is a longtime Idahoan who graduated from BYU–Idaho studying communication and digital media advertising. Fun fact, Parker was originally studying to become a nurse, but his whole life changed in 2015 when a video of him beatboxing with a McDonald’s cup went internationally viral. This video took the internet by storm and went on to receive over 1 billion views online – launching Parker in a whole new direction. He quickly switched majors and tried to juggle college, multiple jobs, and traveling the country to deliver powerful speaking engagements and beatbox performances. A few of his favorites were Outrageous Acts of Science, America’s Got Talent, Ridiculousness, The Steve Harvey Show, Shark Tank’s Daymond John, TEDx, and McDonald’s. Though his experiences have taken him all over the country, (including Nashville where he first began to learn about and truly appreciate country music), Parker is now settling down in the Treasure Valley! In his spare time, he enjoys playing with his dog, podcasting, making music, watching Marvel movies, and hanging out with his friends and family! He is so excited to be with you on 104.3 WOW Country and to get to know you as he becomes more and more immersed in this amazing community. Listen to Parker 10am-3pm, Monday-Friday!
