Beach Boys Kids Form A New Band

This has been a good year for fans of the Beach Boys - in celebration of their 50th anniversary they have put aside their differences and Brian Wilson is touring with the rest of the boys! But, that isn't where it ends...the story continues with California Saga! Children from all the original Beach Boys have joined together to make music and have some fun!

"California Saga" is made up of Brian Wilson's daughters Carnie and Wendy (AKA members of Wilson Phillips), Mike Love's son Christian and his daughter Ambha, Carl Wilson's son Justyn, Dennis Wilson's son Carl, and Al Jardine's sons Matt and Adam. On June 2 they performed live for the first time at the Beach Boys' Los Angeles tour stop at the Hollywood Bowl and on July 10 they will perform again at L.A's Grammy Museum.

For now California Saga is performing hits from the beach Boys catalog, but they hope to soon enter the studio to write some originals.
