The call came from a blocked number and the caller hung up before any other information was provided.
Administrators worked with the Twin Falls Police Department to verify the threat. Following a quick investigation, it was determined that the call was a prank and there is no threat to students or staff and school will continue as normal for the rest of the day.
The message to parents from the school does not say if the school went into a lockdown of any kind during the investigation. There is an increased presence of police at the school today out of caution and to ensure the safety of the students.

Hello CRHS families,
Just before noon, the Canyon Ridge office received a call from a blocked number stating that there was a threat online towards our school. The caller promptly hung up before providing any additional information. Our administrators, along with the Twin Falls Police Department, quickly responded and investigated. We believe at this time that the call was a prank.
We do not believe there is a threat to student safety and the school will continue to be in session as usual. There will continue to be an enhanced police presence at the building today.
Student safety is our top priority, and we all play a role in keeping our schools a safe learning environment. If you or your student see or hear anything of a concerning nature, it is best to report it to an administrator immediately.
