First Federal Bank Robbery in Twin Falls [Update]

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV) - Police from Twin Falls are on the scene of a bank robbery. First Federal Bank was held up by a 60 year old man in wheelchair.

Update: Police have identified the suspect as 60 year-old Robert Bower.

The incident occurred just before 1pm this Tuesday Afternoon at First Federal at Washington and Falls. Witnesses described the suspect as an elderly male in a wheelchair. He passed a note to a bank employee but did not display a weapon. The suspect reportedly left the bank in a taxi cab.

Police contacted the taxi cab company who contacted the driver. The driver was instructed to take the keys and leave the vehicle. The suspect was arrested while getting in the cab. Police quickly took him into custody.
