Sometimes we get so engrossed in reading the bad news that occurs in our community, that we forget about the members in our community that are doing the right thing.

Recently, four teenage boys, between the ages of 15 and 18, rescued a women and her child that were under attack. John W. Rupp was attacking a women and a child with a knife. After the teenage boys intervened, Rupp fled the scene. The women and teenage boys were left with bruises. One young man had several lacerations.

Rupp was considered dangerous to the community so police searched the area until they found him trying to enter another women's' residence. He was arrested at the scene.

Magicvalley.com reports that John W. Rupp, 32, was arraigned Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault, battery and injury to a child. Bond was set at $50,000.
