Gooding Boy Dies In Traffic Accident

A traffic accident in Gooding County has claimed the life of a 9-year old boy.  Police say Mitchell Barnes of Jerome was heading east on 3100 South Road and allegedly failed to top at a stop sign where it intersected with 1700 East Road.  Barnes vehicle collided with a southbound vehicle driven by Amy Hansen.  The resulting crash killed Hansen’s 9 year old son Brady Hansen.  Amy Hansen is in critical condition at a Boise hospital.  The accident happened Monday evening around 5:30.  Police are still investigating.
