Gwen Stefani to Launch ‘Cool’ Harajuku Mini Children’s Clothing Line at Target
She has a successful fashion line and she has children, so it’s only natural that Gwen Stefani would launch a line for kids, right?
The ‘Hollaback Girl’ herself is launching a collection for Target called Harajuku Mini, a line that will include Japanese anime-inspired getups for tweens, kids and babies.
Stefani told Women’s Wear Daily, “Harajuku Mini is a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the supercute and playful kid’s clothing you find in Japan.”
Stefani isn’t the first singer/designer to launch a line for Target. The superstore partnered with Justin Timberlake’s William Rast line to release a limited-edition collection back in November of last year. Jean Paul Gaultier, Isaac Mizrahi, Zac Posen, Rodarte and Alexander McQueen are just a few of the high-end designers that have also created more affordable versions of their collections for Target.
Harajuku Mini will arrive in stores and on Target.com in November. Prices will range from $3.99 to $29.99.
