Hailey Woman Dies In Multiple Vehicle Accident

A Hailey woman is dead after a four vehicle crash on US93 at milepost 61, north of Jerome. The accident happened yesterday at around noon.  Idaho State Police say that traffic was stopped in a construction zone. For unknown reasons 62 year old Dayle Fowler was outside of her vehicle. A semi truck struck Fowler, and then struck a Lexus SUV, a Toyota 4Runner, and a Kia Optima. The semi then came to rest on the right shoulder.  Fowler was pronounced dead at the scene. None of the other drivers were injured. The occupants of all the vehicles were wearing their seatbelts. Weather was not a factor in the crash.
