Ice Fishing In Idaho Is Way More Fun Than It Sounds
I had never been ice fishing prior to just a few weeks ago. It sounds miserable and cold and boring. On the contrary, it is a ton of fun!
I had the pleasure of going ice fishing with some friends this weekend. We went up to Fish Creek Reservoir. It wasn't nearly as cold as my first ice fishing trip and it was way more successful!
My first trip ice fishing we went to Salmon Dam and it was windy and cold, but still a great time. This weekend was nice and sunny with very little wind. I always thought there wasn't enough ice around here to sustain an ice fishing trip. I was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong.
Any recipe ideas for this bad boy that I caught? I caught him on a bright pink Barbie fishing pole. It was probably the most fun I have ever had on ice. Mind sharing some of your favorite ice fishing spots in the area?
