Well parents, it looks like one of you needs to stay home with the kids because apparently the child care options in Idaho are among the worst in the nation. Not just the worst of the 50 states though. We came in at the very bottom of the list at #51. But, there are only 50 states you say. This report from WalletHub also counts the District of Columbia and they are way above us on the list. The map above shows how Idaho ranks overall for working moms, but if you click around the WalletHub article you can see different stats on each state including child care quality.

This isn't good news. Idaho is in the bottom 8 states for working mothers and now those working moms aren't even able to find good child care. Though looking at the map, at least the work-life balance and professional opportunities we rate pretty well.
