Boise's Logan Johnson has announced he has another shot on American Idol, but it's up to you if he makes it.

Johnson announced on social media on November 18 his second chance at making it to Hollywood will be up to people who watch the American Music Awards (AMAs). Johnson said his performance will be airing on the AMAs this Sunday, November 24. Then, fans will be able to vote for his performance that night through the morning of Monday, November 25. Johnson said if he makes the cut and gets the vote to go to Hollywood, it'll be announced during the finale of Dancing with the Stars on ABC.

During the last season of American Idol, Johnson let his guard down and shared his story about overcoming his addiction to alcohol. Although he inspired many viewers, Johnson didn't make the cut into the top 14. However, he still was able to share the stage with Julia Michaels before his journey ended.

When we last wrote about his American Idol journey ended back in April, Johnson had a bit more than 55,000 followers on Instagram. It's safe to say he hasn't stopped performing or gaining followers, as his Instagram now sits at more than 66,400 followers.

He's also dropped a few songs since his time on the show, with "Guess" that came out November 15 and "Bad at Love" that dropped on all streaming platforms back on July 26.

We'll keep you posted if Logan makes the cut. In the meantime, let's throw it back to his audition last season with the video here.
