Idaho News 6 and 104.3 WOW Country are teaming up with the Snake River Stampede to say thank you to our first responders who show up for our communities every day.

Badge and Buckle is a special first responder tribute recognizing local heroes across the Treasure Valley, including firefighters, police officers, paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and others who go above and beyond.

Do you know a first responder who deserves a little time in the spotlight?

Maybe they helped during a scary moment. Maybe they made a lasting impact on your family. Or maybe they are simply the kind of person who keeps showing up, doing the hard work, and putting others first without ever asking for recognition.

This is your chance to help tell their story.

Two Local Heroes Will Be Honored At Snake River Stampede

Nominations are open May 18 through May 31. After nominations close, the Snake River Stampede committee will select two honorees to be recognized as Badge and Buckle recipients.

Each selected honoree will receive four tickets to First Responder Night at the Snake River Stampede on Tuesday, June 16, plus swag bags, along with special pre-show experiences.

Honorees Will Be Announced The Week Of June 8

We will announce two honorees the week of June 8 on Idaho News 6 and 104.3 WOW Country.
